Freeing Creativity

A day of creative freedom

A workshop to help you tap into your creativity, connect with your inspiration and explore your unique and personal approach to colour and mark making, this playful workshop is accessible for anyone with an interest in creativity.

Spend a day in inspiring and provocative surroundings being gently guided to find your own voice through mark making and colour. The workshop is a day to experiment with no expectation of a finished piece, giving you the freedom to play and explore in a relaxed and wholly enjoyable way.

We explore colour and mark making using various techniques that I use in my own art practice - monoprint, linocut, collage and painting - creating your own papers as a starting point to either create a large collage piece or simply a collection of patterns and images for a sketch book.

Designers and Creatives

We all have times when our creativity feels a bit stifled - this workshop will help you reconnect with your own personal aesthetic in a fun, inspiring day. We all have our unique signature of marks and response to colour but these are often forgotten when meeting deadlines and client briefs. By letting things evolve throughout the day and forgetting what’s right or wrong, there is time to let go, make ‘mistakes’, and rediscover your personal aesthetic and creative expression through playful, practical exercises.

This workshop will open up a whole world of creative possibilities and will leave you feeling inspired and invigorated.
